Service
These terms apply to the CheckWarranty service operated under the CheckWarranty brand at checkwarranty.info. CheckWarranty provides device warranty lookups, hardware information, bulk scans, and API access. Results depend on data supplied by device manufacturers and other sources. We do not issue or extend a manufacturer warranty, and a result is not a guarantee of warranty coverage. Confirm important coverage decisions with the manufacturer.
Accounts and acceptable use
You are responsible for your account credentials, API keys, and activity under your account. Submit only device information you are permitted to process. Do not abuse the service, attempt to bypass access controls or rate limits, or use it in violation of applicable law or third-party rights. We may restrict access where needed to protect the service or other users.
Scan credits and payment
The pricing page shows the credit quantity and price before purchase. One successful scan consumes one credit. Purchased credits do not expire. Payment is processed by Paddle, which acts as merchant of record and displays the final amount, currency, and applicable taxes at checkout. Credits are added to your account after payment is confirmed. A failed or incomplete scan should not consume a credit; contact us if your balance appears incorrect.
Refunds
Our Refund Policy explains how to request a refund for purchased credits. Your statutory rights and any applicable Paddle buyer terms continue to apply.
Availability and changes
We work to keep the service available and accurate, but manufacturer systems and network access may change or be unavailable. We may update the service and these terms. The date above identifies the current version; material changes will be communicated through the website or account where appropriate.
