Bulk warranty check with CSV or Excel

Upload serial numbers in the web scanner, review available warranty and factory data, then export Excel or CSV. No API integration is required for the web workflow.

Open the bulk scanner

The template contains illustrative identifiers. Replace them with your own serials. The sample report is a demonstration, not a promise that every field will be returned.

  1. Prepare the file

    Put one serial number or Dell Service Tag per row in the first column. Keep serials as text to preserve leading zeros. A Serial Number header is optional. CSV, XLSX and XLS are supported; file size must not exceed 5 MB.

  2. Upload and review

    Sign in and open Bulk Search. Split mixed inventory by brand and choose the matching brand for each web batch. Drop the file or choose it from your computer. The web importer reads the first column, not brand, product-number or asset-ID columns. Review the imported list and keep your original inventory for matching.

  3. Start a small batch

    Submit up to 100 serials per web batch. Check the available balance and pricing before starting. A credit package can cover multiple batches. Processing time varies by device, manufacturer and queue.

  4. Review and export

    Wait for processing to finish. Review pending, incomplete and not-found records separately. Supply an HP product number if requested. Download the available results as Excel or CSV and match them back to your inventory by brand and serial number.

Web: up to 100 serials per submission. Bulk API: up to 500 items per request. A 500-credit package does not increase the web batch limit.

How to interpret the report

Model and warranty
Available device identity, coverage and dates. A missing warranty start date can remain blank.
CPU, RAM, storage and display
Available factory data. A blank field means no data was returned, not that the device lacks that component.
Factory vs installed configuration
Factory records do not confirm later RAM or SSD upgrades. Inspect the physical device separately before resale or valuation.

Useful partial results are chargeable, including warranty only or specifications only. If no useful device data is returned, the scan reservation is released. An error or an echoed serial alone is not a useful result.
